A Fighter for District 78.
Meet Matt.
I have dedicated my adult life to public service – both in and out of uniform. For eight years, I served as an Army Reserve paralegal, working on missions ranging from will preparation for deploying Soldiers to national security law matters at the Pentagon. My time in the Army taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to fight for the common good.
When I wasn’t in uniform, I was behind a bar, making drinks and listening to people’s stories. I know what it’s like to work long hours, live paycheck to paycheck, and hope that you’re able to pay rent each month. I understand the struggles of working class North Carolinians, because I’ve lived them before.
Today, I work in the veteran advocacy field here in Moore County, helping those who have served our country honorably get the benefits they rightly deserve. I’m running for NC House District 78 because our community deserves a representative who works just as hard for our community as those who work everyday to make ends meet.
And as a new generation rises to take the baton of leadership, they deserve a representative that will see the bright future for North Carolina that we hope to build. I want to bring common sense and real solutions to Raleigh – informed not only by the values I hold, but the experiences I’ve lived. I’ve served drinks, I’ve served my country, and now I’m ready to serve the people of the 78th District.
